While wandering around the internet, I stumble across all sorts of sites. Informative sites, weird sites — sites too terrifying to speak of — and every once in a while, a great site worth sharing.

The following are a handful of some great film and pop culture sites that you might not have discovered. They each have their own style and approach, but passion for their content is what ties them all together.

But enough of my yammering. Here they are, explaining their sites in their own words.

Next Projection — www.nextprojection.com

Next Projection is a Toronto-based organization founded in an attempt to bring the best of today’s and yesterday’s films to fans of movies around the world, while in the process, stimulating a thought-provoking discussion of cinema through our film reviews, daily blog, and movie trailers. We are of the view that good movies are either enlightening or entertaining, and if you are truly lucky, they are both.

Gab & Dad — www.youtube.com/user/GabnDad

The Gab & Dad channel features regular, often early, reviews of current releases. Gab (thirties), Dad (sixties), and Max (age 8) are big-time movie fans, who enjoy lively discussion in different pairings (and sometimes solo). The multi-generation approach is a refreshing perspective in the film reviewing genre, and their three different attitudes are always entertaining! Each movie is rated out of 5 Gabs / Dads / Maxs… Who will you agree with most?

The Goss-ling — thegoss-ling.tumblr.com/

It’s a little known fact that gossip is good for the soul. It establishes connections! It helps us bond. But when you keep gossiping about Sharon’s new boobs and how Ethel’s boyfriend text-dumped her, it’s only a matter of time before no one shows up to your birthday party. Take that insatiable thirst for other peoples’ business and apply it to the people who don’t know you and never will. The Goss-ling puts celebs’ lives under the microscope with a keen eye for dirt and a love of sheer ridiculousness. Goss-ling! Like a bitchy little goose that won’t stop squawking.
