Arrested Development gave Michael Cera his break-out role. As George-Michael, his neurotic, mumbly shtick was brilliant and fresh. Ah, how times have changed.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love popping in an Arrested Development DVD every now and then. It’s just that Cera’s stock, stammering, perma-virgin routine in all his movies since then have started to become a bit predictable. Apparently, I’m not the only one who thinks so.
