The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Repo Men, Our Family Wedding and Killers Trailers

A new week, and with it, a new batch of trailers. Stealing a bit from Clint Eastwood, I’ve broken them down into The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Enjoy.

The Good

Repo Men

While sci-fi especially can never be a sure bet by the trailer alone, Repo Men seems intriguing and original enough that it might be worth a look. Ripping people open and social commentary? Sign me up.

Jude Law growing a set of balls.

The Bad

Our Family Wedding

Our Family Wedding takes the hilariousness of outdated race relations and adds Carlos Mencia. Need I say more?

Carlos Mencia is an unoriginal bastard.

The Ugly

Killers

Killers, starring Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl is “ugly” both because of the inevitable badness contained within, as well as as the fact that it’s directed by Heigl’s former director of the box office bomb, The Ugly Truth. It’s almost like the head writer for this film was like, “You know, Mr. and Mrs. Smith was far too excellent and sexy. Is there any way we can rip it off without all the reason to see it? We can? Terrific.”

Feel the lack of chemistry.
